Routine Eye Care
To help keep your eyes healthy, we recommend having your eyes examined yearly – even if you don’t notice any changes in your vision. Many eye diseases, such as glaucoma or age-related macular degeneration, don’t show any early symptoms. A dilated eye exam can detect these diseases before any vision loss may occur.
We offer appointments six days a week in Alexandria. We offer appointments five days a week in Eunice, Ferriday, Jonesville, Leesville, Many, Marksville, Monroe, Natchitoches, New Iberia, Oakdale, Pineville, Urania, Ville Platte, Winnfield, and Youngsville.
Pediatric Eye Care
The American Optometric Association recommends children receive annual eye exams beginning at six years of age. Our central Louisiana optometrists perform eye exams to determine if your child is experiencing any issues with their vision, and, if needed, make recommendations on prescription eyeglasses.
Contact Lenses & Specialty Contact Lenses
For patients who prefer contact lenses to glasses, The Optical Center at Louisiana Eye & Laser Center will help patients select the best type of lens to fit their needs. We offer a variety of lenses, including single vision, progressives, bifocal, and anti-fatique lenses.
