Brett Bennett, OD

OPTOMETRIST

Dr. Bennett is a native of Pineville and joined Louisiana Eye & Laser Center in the summer of 2015.  He is an alumnus of Pineville High school where he was passionately involved in football, powerlifting, and theatre/acting.

Dr. Bennett received his bachelor of science in biology and a chemistry minor from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.  During his time at ULM, he was involved with several leadership roles including Baptist College Ministry, Kappa Sigma Fraternity, and Hometown Hawks.  He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston.  During his time at the University of Houston, he was awarded several clinical letters of excellence, he was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa fraternity, and the Student Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Bennett enjoys giving ocular care and eye exams to all patients of all ages. His specialties include: ocular disease/pathology, specialty lenses, pediatrics, traumatic brain injury patients, and special needs patients.

Dr. Bennett is the current society president of central Louisiana for optometry. When not helping people’s eyes he enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys working out, hunting, fishing, and frisbee golf.
