Alexis Temple, OD
OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Temple was born in West Virginia and later relocated to Texas with her family. She graduated cum laude from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology before earning her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. During her training, she completed clinical rotations in both Louisiana and Oklahoma. While at UHCO she completed a Master in Physiological Optics and Vision Science, conducting research on the effects of two weeks of red light therapy on axial length and choroidal thickness in young adults.
Dr. Temple offers comprehensive eye care, including the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, dry eye treatment, and specialty contact lens fittings.
When not in clinic Dr. Temple enjoys spending her spare time baking sweet treats, reading, traveling, and hanging out with her friends and family.
