As a graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Michelle Boyer’s practical experience as a Certified Physician Assistant extends over two decades!!! Michelle’s, dedication to patient care and desire for personal growth has led her to begin an exciting new chapter here at the Louisiana Eye and Laser Centers. Her enthusiasm for the intensive training required to join our team reflects her unwavering passion to embark on her fresh future in the field of eyecare.
Michelle is also a veteran of the Armed Forces having served in the US Army Reserves and National Guard after high school which accelerated her into being accepted to PA school and begin a remarkable career. Her career is marked by significant positions, such as developing standards, protocols, and policies for controlled substance management at a large Federal Qualified Health Clinic and leading the creation of the Pain Wellness Program at Northern Arizona Orthopedics. These roles have allowed her to implement comprehensive, integrated pain management programs, emphasizing opioid safety and holistic therapies. As she eagerly embraces her new journey, Michelle is poised to bring her wealth of experience and personal strengths to enrich our vision care team and further elevate patient care.
