Hunter Peterson, OD
OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Hunter Peterson was raised in Arizona and received a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from BYU. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston. He completed an internship at a community clinic in Houston and at Louisiana Eye and Laser in Pineville, following which he transplanted his family to Central Louisiana.
Dr. Peterson’s optometric training includes comprehensive eye care, including ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, pediatrics, and special needs populations. He is also fluent in Spanish.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Peterson enjoys time with his wife and two children doing activities such as hiking, camping, cooking, and sports.
