At Louisiana Eye & Laser Center, we strive to make LASIK affordable for our patients. We have several financing options available to LASIK patients.
Most insurance companies do not cover LASIK, as this is considered an elective procedure. If you have a Flex Spending Account (FSA) or a Health Savings Account (HSA) through your employer, you can use these pre-tax dollars towards the cost of LASIK. The coverage amount varies per plan, but you may be able to save up to 50% off the cost of LASIK.
Louisiana Eye & Laser Center requires payment in full at the time of surgery. We accept cash, check, or credit cards.
Louisiana Eye & Laser Center offers financing options to our patients. Qualified patients can finance their procedure for up to 24 months with no interest. If you are interested in financing your procedure, please discuss this during your initial LASIK consultation.
LASIK just makes $ense! The average cost of maintaining prescription glasses and contact lenses quickly adds up:
- Prescription Glasses – $263
- Prescription Sunglasses – $325
- Contacts for One Year – $240
- Contact Lens Supplies – $144
Over 20 years, a person might spend $19,440 or more on glasses and contacts! With Blade-Free LASIK at Louisiana Eye & Laser Center, imagine the amount of money you could save in your lifetime.
