Hailey McGehee, FNP-C

Hailey McGehee received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2016 and Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2024 from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA. She is a proud member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.

She has worked with patients across the lifespan and previously cared for veterans at the VA hospital in Shreveport, LA. Hailey grew up in a military family so veterans are near and dear to her heart. Her work experience includes caring for medical-surgical patients in the hospital setting, operating room, hospice, and nursing home care.

Her hobbies include chasing after her two young children, spending time with her family, and playing with her dogs. As a proud native of Many, LA, Hailey is eager to continue serving patients across the state of Louisiana and expanding her knowledge of ophthalmology and optometry. She is the first nurse practitioner to be contacted to specialize in optometry in the state.
